Copyright and Rights Center

Authors keep ownership of their work. City Pixels receives only the limited permission needed to operate and promote the platform. This page also provides the formal copyright-notice and counter-notice workflows.

Authorized Worlds: world-rule complaints, idea conflicts, character-isolation disputes, and platform appeals are further described in the Authorized Worlds IP, Takedown & Dispute Policy. Formal copyright notices still use this Copyright and Rights Center.

Author ownership

Submitting work does not transfer ownership to City Pixels. Authors grant Fallen House Media LLC a limited, nonexclusive license only to host, store, format, display, distribute through City Pixels, preserve required records, and promote the work in connection with City Pixels.

Authors must have the rights and permissions needed for stories, images, cover art, names, quotations, links, audio, video, and every other submitted element.

Before filing

A copyright notice is a formal legal statement. It is not the same as reporting harassment, privacy abuse, impersonation, or a general policy violation.

For non-copyright concerns, use the content-report form.
